Tammy H. Wharton is the chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland Council which serves more than 40,000 Girl Scout members. Her initial connection with the Girl Scouts began in 2001, when she led the organization's fund-raising and public relations efforts.

Amy was the brown owl for 1st endeavour brownie guides for 6 years. She was able to see her brownies grow into senior guides. She started in guiding as a brownie and then became a junior guide under leadership of her mother. Girl guides teaches you to be brave and gives you the strength to take on any challenge. Although she is not an active leader, Guiding is close to her heart. It's an experience that molds you into a young lady.
